Research, design, development, manufacture and supply of all types of lifting and handling systems were the maxims held by Enzo Banfi and Giovanni Penati when in 1962, they founded Italkrane.

Today, the company continues, still under the active management of the founders, to progress with emphasis being placed on the in-house manufacturing of components and electromechanical assemblies that could be used with flexibility and versatility in the production of lifting equipment.

The result of this philosophy, the readiness to embrace the latest technology and the founders’ original maxims are reflected in today’s extensive range of series built products; bridge and gantry cranes up to 320 tonnes capacity and hoists up to 32 tonnes. Wire rope hoists GO*UP series and chain hoists YO*YO series have become well known in the world.
